There is a place for everyone to find community, serve, and discover the life God created them to have. Check out ministries below, and let us know how you would like to get involved.

Finding community is hard.
The world we live in makes it even harder. Studies show that huge numbers of our community struggle with isolation, loneliness, and despair. Living on screens instead of in person with one another is a major reason.
So, we have committed to fighting a war against loneliness and despair. One way we are doing so is creating comfortable spaces where we can engage one another and build friendships that have real meaning.
To that end, we have started Brunch Church, a monthly worship gathering that is a bit different.
We will gather for worship in our fellowship hall, sitting around tables together. The simple service will have some music and prayers, a short reflection, and lots of time to share stories, have discussions, and build relationships around your table. Did we mention we will do all of that while enjoying some fantastic food? Sounds like a delightful way to spend a Sunday morning together.
Come and try it out, bring a friend, and get ready to make a new one!
For over 15 years, we have gathered on Tuesday mornings to dwell in scripture, enjoy some coffee and community, and pray together. All are welcome to join us on Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m. at the church. Each week we read the scripture for the following Sunday and listen to the Spirit as we reflect on the passage.

One of the best ways to grow in our faith and build relationships is to have a group of friends to gather with, regularly, to study, pray, and share life with. At DCC, we have groups that meet throughout the week, and at different times during the year to study the Bible or have book discussions. If you are interested in finding out more information, starting a group, or discovering what our groups are studying, click on the Next Steps link and send us a note!

We are deeply invested in creating safe spaces for our youth to find belonging, explore their faith, and navigate the challenges in their lives. To that end, in 2022, DCC partnered with other local churches to start the Chesterton Youth Collective.
Together, our four churches and the Duneland YMCA are partnering to serve youth and their families in our communities. You can find us on Sunday evenings at 4 p.m. at the Duneland YMCA Healthy Living Campus.
