Duneland Community Church invites you to

“A Night in Bethlehem.”

Please join us as we re-create the town of Bethlehem on the night our Savior, Jesus (or Yeshua as the Jews called him) was born to Mary, a virgin.

There is a census for all who live within Rome’s borders this year and everyone must be counted! You are from the line of David and must travel to Bethlehem. It’s a small town consisting mostly of shepherds-- watching and preparing the flocks for the temple sacrifices. Like any city, it has a few beggars and a leper or two. Be cautious and respectful of the Roman soldiers; you wouldn’t want to be put in the stockade for disturbing the peace.

As you make your way through the main street of Bethlehem you will discover a marketplace. Stop in a shop and participate in dipping a candle, or making a clay pot. Visit our stonemason shop and help build a wall. Peruse our candy shop and sample authentic Jewish treats. Travel on past the marketplace to a tiny stable and see a beautiful baby dressed in swaddling clothes….Immanuel, God with us.

Invite your friends and neighbors for this exciting event.
