We believe that we have been called to be a transformational church. This happens in the lives of people who:

• Are seeking to find out who God really is.
• Believe in God and want to follow closer.
• Committed Christians who are maturing in their faith.

We believe Jesus Christ, through his death and resurrection is the source for the transformation no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. He will transform andchange lives, change families, and change our community.

Four areas that are important to DCC are:

• Worship - We realize there are many different ways and styles of worship with none being more right than others. We respond to God's Love through times of praise and worship led by a team with an array of lively instruments and voices. We use drama, video clips and commercials to enhance the message of Christ in a relevant and meaningful way.
   
• 3D groups - Our version of small groups is described by the 3D which stand for the discovery, development, and demonstration of the love Jesus Christ which happens in small groups which meet on a regular basis. Some are home groups while others are on Sundays before and after worship. Groups for couples, men, women, youth, children, and support are all available.
   
• Service - Involvement in serving others is vital to our maturing as a church and as individuals. We view ministry not taking place only on Sunday but each day of the week in whatever situation we find ourselves in. It may be parenting, working, shopping, coaching, teaching, singing or the multitude of other skills and talents God has given for us to share with others.
   
• Prayer All of the above comes about as we pray individually and corporately seeking God’s direction and wisdom for DCC and ourselves. Prayer starts our relationship with God and must continue as we mature in our relationship with him.

We believe as our lives intersect with our faith then transformation will take place.
